How do you connect a split-level 1950s edition and this historic 1800s church? It took an unfortunate fall down a flight of steps and a call to  DESIGN CONCEPTS to answer that question. The solution was a new entrance feature that hid an elevator to connect the multiple levels through an expanded and renovated narthex. In addition, the restrooms, nursery, library, and narthex were updated to create a warm, inviting, gathering connector and support space. Thankfully this fall from a pregnant mother did not have any lasting negative impact, but had instead a positive outcome for the mother, child, and the rest of the congregation.
