How do you promote gathering and community at church? By providing thoughtful places to gather.

DESIGN CONCEPTS designed and detailed these 14 cast stone benches representing the 7 Corporal and 7 Spiritual Works of Mercy. Each bench includes an appropriate verse or quote engraved and stained in a bronze lithochrome stain.

In addition to providing instruction in the Catholic Christian faith, the benches were meant to promote gathering by providing much needed seating before and after Mass.

The benches also served as a fundraiser. Each bench was adopted or sponsored by an individual in memory of a loved one or cause. Due to high demand, the parish was able to quickly pay off the bench cost while raising much needed funds.
